Galderma’s newest Restylane Kysse, a hyaluronic acid lip filler, , has been used outside of USA for years. It obtained FDA approval in May of 2020. Since then, it has been a crowd pleaser. With XpresHAn Technology—a manufacturing process allows for a gel that integrates into the skin for natural expression in motion versus a firmer, more structured look—Restylane Kysse is the first and only FDA-approved lip filler to harness the technology, resulting plush, hydrated, and pillowy look. The results Phase 3 clinical study also showed a significantly lower amount of Restylane Kysse was needed to show an improvement in lip fullness when compared to the control filler.
In our clinic, we started carrying Restylane Kysse since August 2020. The first group received were Renew staff members, a group of very seasoned dermal filler evaluators. Everyone loves Kysse for how natural and hydrating it looks as well as how easy and comfortable the entire injecting process was: no big swelling, bruising, and tenderness associated with process.
